Scoop’s Early Learning Schoolhouse - About Us

Scoop’s Early Learning Schoolhouse is a childcare ministry. We meet all health, safety, and regulatory standards, including regular inspections and adherence to state guidelines. We believe in fostering creativity, independence, and social responsibility through a mixed-ages approach, where children of varying ages interact, learn from one another, and build a strong sense of community. We are committed to inclusivity, offering an environment that supports children of all backgrounds and abilities, with appropriate modifications as needed.

Our mission is to help children fulfil their God given potential.

Our goal is to give students opportunities to grow and develop academically, emotionally, socially and physically. We will provide quality education in a happy and safe environment.

Meet the Director: Mrs. Sharron S. Jones

My name is Sharron Jones, and I am the Founder and Executive Director of Scoop’s Early Learning Schoolhouse. I hold a Master of Arts (MA) in Educational Administration and Supervision from Ball State University and a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, which strengthens my commitment to whole-child wellness, movement, and development.

With over 20 years of experience working with children and supporting ALL learners, I am dedicated to creating a nurturing, structured, and faith-grounded environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

My journey in education began long before my degrees—serving as a youth coach, school secretary, volunteer, referee, and committed mentor. I even worked as a school bus driver while pursuing my education degree, gaining firsthand experience in student safety, school routines, and building relationships with children and families. These roles shaped my passion for leadership, child development, and family-centered care.

Over the years, I transitioned into classroom teaching, instructional support roles, and educational leadership. My calling has always been to help children discover their strengths and unlock their potential, which is the heart behind Scoop’s Early Learning Schoolhouse.

At Scoop’s Early Learning Schoolhouse, every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to shine. I believe in strong partnerships with families, clear communication, and leading with compassion, excellence, and purpose.

Welcome to Scoop’s Early Learning Schoolhouse—where your child’s growth, safety, and happiness are our top priorities.
