An infant classroom is a special, nurturing environment where young children (typically ages 6 weeks to 12 months) begin to grow, develop, and explore the world around them. These classrooms are designed to provide a safe, stimulating, and comforting space for infants to learn through sensory experiences and to build essential developmental foundations in their first year of life.
At Scoop’s Early Learning Schoolhouse , our mission is to provide safe and nurturing child care services that promote child development and growth. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where children can learn and play.
We strive to identify and nurture ever child’s educational strengths. We are able to help them learn the basic skills needed to start an education. Skills such as holding a writing utensil, identifying shapes and colors, and coloring inside the lines are all part of solid foundation. Our students also learn about letters and their sounds, identify numbers, writing their names, holding/using scissors, and so much more.

Our daily schedule is thoughtfully designed to create a nurturing and structured environment that supports each child's growth and development. While flexibility is maintained to accommodate individual needs, we follow a consistent routine to promote stability and predictability for the children. Diapers and toileting needs are attended to as needed and at least every 2 hours.
